This Privacy Policy describes how Doppelkopf ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data practices associated with our App.

1. Data We Collect

Doppelkopf is a card game played against three computer-controlled opponents. The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. No registration or user account is required. Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to us.

However, the App integrates the following services that may collect certain data:

Google AdMob (Advertising)

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to fund its free operation. Depending on your consent choice (see Section 3), AdMob shows personalized or non-personalized ads. AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers, in particular your device's advertising ID
• IP address
• Approximate location data (derived from your IP address, at country/region level)
• Device information (model, operating system version)
• App interactions (e.g. app launches and session duration)
• Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
• Diagnostic data (e.g. crash and performance data)

Google Play Billing / Apple App Store (In-App Purchase)

The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Remove ads"). The purchase is processed entirely through the billing system of the respective app store: Google Play Billing (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). The store operator processes payment information and purchase history in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not receive any payment data; the App only learns whether the purchase has been made and stores this purchase status locally on your device.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

The third-party data collection described above serves the following purposes:

• Advertising — to display personalized or non-personalized ads within the App and fund the free offering (AdMob)
• Purchase processing — to process the optional "Remove ads" in-app purchase (Google Play Billing or Apple App Store)

3. Consent for Personalized Ads and Changing Your Privacy Settings

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the App will request your consent on first launch before showing personalized advertisements, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This prompt is presented through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). You may choose to:

• Consent to personalized ads based on your interests
• Decline personalized ads — you will then see non-personalized ads, which are not based on your interests

You can change your privacy settings at any time:

• via the "Werbe-Einwilligung verwalten" (manage ad consent) button on the "Impressum & Datenschutz" screen in the App, which lets you review, change, or withdraw your consent,
• by clearing the App's data in your device settings, which will trigger a new consent prompt,
• by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking),
• via the ad settings in your Google account.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with the following third parties solely for the purposes described above:

• Google LLC — for advertising (AdMob) and purchase processing via Google Play Billing (Android)
• Apple Inc. — for purchase processing via the App Store (iOS)

5. Data Retention

We do not store any personal data on our servers. Data collected by third-party services (Google, Apple) is subject to their respective retention policies.

Game progress, settings, and the purchase status are stored locally on your device only. You can remove this data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

• Right of access — request information about what data is processed
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
• Right to restriction — request restriction of data processing
• Right to object — object to data processing
• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw your consent for personalized ads at any time
• Right to lodge a complaint — with a supervisory authority in your member state

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
